Susan Hubbard is an American fiction writer and professor at the University of Central Florida.〔(UCF English Department: Faculty and Staff Information )〕 She has written seven books of fiction, and is a winner of the Associated Writing Program Prize for Short Fiction〔(Split Rock Arts Program Online Mentoring for Writers profile )〕 and the Janet Heidinger Kafka Prize〔(Online List of Award Recipients )〕 for best prose book of the year by an American woman.
